What is a Step in a Flow?
Flows are comprised of individual steps, each representing either a trigger or an action/tool step performed on data. The first step of every Flow will be a trigger to initiate the Flow.
In the following sections, we will provide information on how to manage your steps.
Note: Each Flow can contain a maximum of 50 steps.
How to Add Steps to Flows
To add additional steps to your Flow, simply click on the "+" button that is found underneath each step:
Tip: By clicking the "+" button, you can also add a Tool step. To learn more about built-in tool options available, see our section here: Flows Built-In Tools
How to Delete Steps
To delete a particular step in a Flow, you can click on the ellipses icon (....) to the right of the step and select "Delete" from the list.
How to Disable Steps
To disable a particular action step in a Flow, you can click on the ellipses icon (...) to the right of the action step and select "Disable step" from the list.
To re-enable the step later, simply select the "Enable step" option from the same list.
Note: Only action steps can be disabled. The entire Flow can be paused to avoid any triggers & actions from running.
How to Copy Steps
To copy an action step in your Flow, you can click the ellipses icon (...) to the right of the step and select "Copy" from the list.
Note: Upon confirming your intention to copy the step, the newly created copy will appear directly beneath the original step in your Flow.
