I need account access or I need to transfer account access because the current account owner or colleague left the company.
For security reasons, we cannot change the account owner. Account changes can only be made from within the Knack Builder by the account owner.
This is a situation that has come up in the past, and two routes have worked for other customers:

Reaching out to the former employee to have them log in and change those credentials.

To gain access to the former employee's email associated with the Knack account, you can utilize the reset link to reset the password. Afterward, log in with the new password and proceed to change the account owner.
Note: We're prevented from altering or even accessing the account owner details to ensure the security of an account.
