Flows Error-Driven Automation Halt Policy
Understand the process by which Knack pauses Flows that only encounter errors, with routine checks conducted daily and weekly according to the time zone set in your account.
If a Flow consistently encounters errors without achieving any successful requests, it will eventually be halted. To reactivate the Flow, the user must address and resolve the errors. It is important to note that the specific type of error does not impact this process.
All checks are conducted daily at noon, according to the time zone specified in your Knack app's Settings.
Checks are categorized into two types:
- Once a day: If the Flow experiences errors in more than 50 runs, it will cease operation. Conversely, if it has fewer than 50 runs or has successfully completed all steps at least once, the Flow will continue to function.
- Once a week: If the Flow encounters only errors without achieving even a single successful request, it will be halted. In this scenario, the total number of requests and errors does not affect the outcome. For instance, if the Flow runs only once during the week and results in an error, it will be stopped. Conversely, if there is at least one successful request, the automation will continue to operate.
Note: The account owner will receive a notification email every hour in the event that a Flow has been halted.
