What are Conditions in Flows?
Conditions serve as filters that can be applied to your trigger step within your Flows. You can set specific filters for trigger steps to refine when the Flow is initiated.
For instance, you may configure the trigger to activate only when a order's delivery status in Knack is set to "Delivered".
Here are example Conditions configured for a Google Sheet trigger:
How to Access Conditions in Trigger Steps
To access your Conditions, select the "Conditions" button located to the right of your Flow's trigger step:
Note: Conditions can only be modified when the Flow is paused and not currently in operation.
How to Add a Condition
To add additional conditions to your Flow's trigger, select the "+ Add a condition" option at the bottom of the Conditions modal:
How to Delete a Condition
To delete a Condition, select the trash can icon located in the upper-right hand corner of the condition:
How to Convert a Condition to a Group of Conditions
Depending on your specific workflow requirements, you might find it beneficial to group multiple conditions together. This allows you to create a second group of conditions that utilize the "OR" operator, enabling greater flexibility in your Flow's logic.
Additionally, organizing conditions into distinct groups can simplify the management of each "If" condition, making your setup more intuitive and easier to navigate.
To accomplish this, simply click on the "Convert to a group of conditions" option found beneath your current conditions:
You will then have the option to toggle between "and" and "or," allowing you to apply conditional logic based on your specific requirements. This feature is also applicable across different condition groups, as shown in the screenshots above.
