Does the signature captured through a signature field constitute a legally binding signature?

Danielle Kellogg Updated by Danielle Kellogg

No, the signatures captured using a Knack signature field are not legally binding.

For an e-signature to be legally binding it must meet all the requirements listed on the Electronic Signatures Act. Services like Right Signature and DocuSign offer comprehensive services that are compliant with the requirements listed on the Electronic Signatures Act. We don't currently offer native support for Right Signature or other services like it.
