How do I copy an app from my account to another account?

To copy an app from one account to another, send an email to support@knack.com, and include the following information:

  • The name of the app you want to be copied.
  • Whether you want the records and app structure copied, or just the app's structure.
    • If on a Pro plan or higher, if you would like tasks to be copied with the data.

Confirmation From Account Owners

We will need confirmation from both Knack account owners involved that the app can be copied over.

The easiest way to do that is to CC the other account owner on the email you send to support@knack.com. That will help expedite the process.

If you’re not the owner of the account where the original app is located, then go ahead and CC them as well so they can give their consent.

 

We won’t be able to complete the app copy request until we have confirmation from both account owners in writing. The emails need to come from the email addresses associated with each of the accounts.
