How do I copy an app from my Knack account to another account?

Here you can find information on how you can have an app copied from one Knack account into another account.

To initiate the process of copying an app from one account to another, please reach out to our support team by emailing support@knack.com. Ensure that you provide the necessary details mentioned below:

  • The name of the app you want to be copied.
  • Whether you want the records and app structure copied, or just the app's structure.
  • If on a Pro plan or higher, if you would like tasks to be copied with the data.

 

Confirmation From Account Owners

We kindly request confirmation from both account owners of Knack involved in the app copy process to proceed with copying the app.

A quick and effective way to do this is by including the other account owner in the CC field when you email support@knack.com. This will help speed up the process.

If you are not the owner of the account where the original app is located, kindly include them in the CC field as well to obtain their consent.

Note: We require written confirmation from both account owners before we can proceed with completing the app copy request. Please ensure that the emails come from the email addresses associated with each of the accounts.
