1. Simply create an Equation field in your desired table and adjust the Equation settings as follows:

Type: Date
Date Type: days
Result Type: Date
You may choose to keep the rest of the options at their default settings.

2. To input the equation, simply use the currentTime() function, which will automatically retrieve the current date.
